OUR MISSION

The Taco Bell Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity, breaks down barriers to educate and inspire the next generation of leaders. Through grants, scholarships, and experiences, the Taco Bell Foundation expands student access to education and fuels the bold ambitions of young people who want to create good in their communities and beyond.

The Taco Bell Foundation is primarily funded by Taco Bell Corp, Taco Bell’s Franchisees, Taco Bell vendors and supplier partners, and Taco Bell’s loyal customers and fans. Franchisees support the Taco Bell Foundation through participation in Owners’ Giving Circle, personal giving at private events, and by promoting the Round Up program. Vendor and supplier partners support the Taco Bell Foundation through the TBF Champions program and private events. Customers and fans of the brand support the Taco Bell Foundation by rounding up their order total when they visit a Taco Bell restaurant.

OUR PROGRAMS

The Taco Bell Foundation’s signature program, the Live Más Scholarship, aims to empower the nation’s next generation of world changers – those whose passions may not fall into the categories of traditional scholarship programs. Beyond the money, scholars have access to a community of peers, professional development events, mentoring, and various resources year-round.  Since the program’s inception in 2016, over 3,000 scholarships have been awarded to students ages 16-26 across the nation.

Through the Community Grants Program, the Taco Bell Foundation supports nearly 400 nonprofit organizations championing youth in the communities where Taco Bell Team Members live and work. Our partners provide direct services for many at-risk, underperforming, and underrepresented youth, including mentorship, college and career exploration and readiness, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and socio-emotional well-being.

The Ambition Accelerator Program, Taco Bell Foundation’s newest program, is a unique opportunity for young entrepreneurs to take their social impact ideas to the next level. Entrepreneurs are invited to apply with an existing nonprofit or social venture. The top 25 ideas move on to an in-person summit, where the final five teams will pitch their ideas on stage for a chance to win $25,000 in seed funding.
