The Live Más Scholarship is more than a check—it’s a community. Each year, scholars, including Taco Bell team members, gather at the Taco Bell Foundation’s Summer of Connection to develop skills, build connections, and grow their education, careers, and passions through career development, wellness sessions, and community projects.

Golf Classic attendees are invited to attend this year’s Fire! Up for Good Challenge where eight Live Más Scholars will deliver a compelling 3-minute pitch, sharing their vision for change and the actions they are taking to make a difference. The audience- all 300 Live Más Scholars along with Taco Bell Executives, Franchisees, and Vendor & Supplier Partners will play a key role in shaping the outcome by casting their votes to determine the grand prize winner. This session is more than a competition—it’s an opportunity to amplify bold ideas, celebrate Scholar-led impact, and inspire action. Together, we’ll reflect on the power of youth-driven change and the role each of us plays in shaping the world we live in.
Meet Laila - 2024 1st Place Winner
After learning of the 500 million people that face “period poverty,” Laila was motivated to push menstrual equity. She founded PERIOD, a movement that equips youth leaders with education and products to combat period poverty globally.
